One thing I’m not going to do when I release a new project? Acknowledge it happening. I’ll listen to it in three months thank you so much.

Animals should not be allowed to die, but especially not this one. Stole him as a baby off a farm where they were going to kill him because he seemingly had no eyes (they were just infected & closed), and he was the chunkiest sweetest boy. Whenever he goes now, he’ll still be chunkiest and sweetest.

First Sunday at home since the September move. I’m still in bed at 1:30pm. This life may very well be worth living.

Going no-contact with my partner for a week (she left her phone in an Uber on the way to the airport , leaving me to negotiate over the phone with the driver I found on Instagram to get the phone back, a man who seemingly believed I could have psychic knowledge of a strangers phone)

I keep notes for myself like I’m an amnesiac with a memory that resets every morning. Sticky notes on cupboards and mirrors with painstaking detail and accuracy. Alarms every few hours with thorough explainers. Human supporters. And yet, I’ll be lucky to remember to pee.

I’ve been in the new place for almost 5 weeks and I’m back to saying that if literally anything ails you, I hold the maybe egotistical but certainly somehow true belief that if you came and laid on my rug and let me choose a weed strain for you and then a corresponding meal, you would be ok

My last real *corporate job, I was written up twice. Once for trying to fight a thief in the parking lot who was breaking into colleagues cars. Guess this is a "liability." And once for asking a guy in management if I could fight him in the parking lot cause he was pissing me off.

In all inboxes: The Trick to Cooperation. Systems may run on routine, but for those pulled into them, that routine can feel destabilizing and demeaning. Today, Kennedy reflects on what it means to navigate a case from the other side, from the witness stand.

Not to say the most obvious thing that's been said 100 times but God the irony of being prescribed a medication that's supposed to help you do things like remember to take your medication and then absolutely not remembering to take that medication because that's your number one symptom, awesome

Currently, every bit of my new home is covered in boxes, styrofoam and garbage. But here, a peek that is a sneak.

My pantry came with one smashed unusable glass door, but whatever, she’s trying. We can all relate.
