Well I tried to take a cute picture of the opened box displaying the earrings with the cat in her bat wings but the other cat thought they were a new toy for her.

Juno will not sit on the bed for cuddles unless the light is off, if I'm reading and need the light she will wait on whatever clothing, blanket, or extra pillow is on the floor until it's off.

Twice this year I have gone to book events kinda last minute and both were for books that have to do with agriculture. Excited to have a jumping off point for this subject.

Golden hour was really golden this morning.
A street lit with golden light from sunrise. The side of the top of the Cathedral in Saint Paul is framed by trees. There are cars parked on both sides of the street. The trees are mostly in shadow and the sun is just showing through the top of one of the trees. A light layer of clouds covering the morning sky, very faintly a rainbow can be seen.

Exciting cat news! Shy cat the large let me pet his tail a bunch because I was petting Jade's head and his tail was just right there. He kept an eye on me to make sure I wouldn't try any funny business like touching any other part of him or pet her belly but he did put his hand down after a bit.

Exciting news! Shy cat the large was just sitting under the chair I am sitting in! When I leaned over he did move but is now laying on the cooler bag only a few inches away.

For recipes I want to make again I'll copy it into a blank document so I can add notes and have a record. Looking back over my cornflake notes I found this. So reminder to myself to read over the whole thing before I start baking. 🙄

Very excited about today's cookie test. The milk bar cornflake cookie recipe I found is has a really high butter/sugar to flour/egg ratio so they spread and are very flat/caramel-y.
Today I made a cookie base from a different recipe and added the fillings from the cornflake recipe.
Five pale cookies on a small cookie sheet. Four of them are taller while the fifth is very flat and wide.

We have three cats and two boxes, that's why we scoop twice a day. Picture of the one in the boot tray.
A covered litter box sitting in a long boot tray, there is also a small mat at the end of the boot tray that is supposed to catch letter from the cats paws - it kinda works - next to the litter box is an air purifier.
