Do you know why @jamesgunn.bsky.social is so successful at what he does? He has a reverence for the characters and stories and doesn't take himself too seriously. It works.

Everytime someone mentions boycotting a product, website, or person, I always ask myself if this will be the one to make Kaepernick proud.

Went to my mother's and the humidity in her apartment caused her tomatoes on the counter to sprout. Mom, please understand that not everyone wants to sit in a sauna all day.

I signed out of The Book of Faces the day before the inauguration and found myself randomly clicking on the app icon multiple times per hour out of habit. While I haven't completely deleted the app nor actually returned to it, I have hidden the icon. The habit was more than a little unsettling.

I think the theory has been proven pretty definitively. When the poor run out of things to eat, they won't eat the rich. They'll eat each other.
