Three points pissed okay by the owners. The Villa team that turned up before half-time was one to be beaten, the LUFC side that started the second half rolled out the red carpet to welcome them back into the game.

Anyone else in the dug-out sends the team out with a sense of purpose. Time is up.

Has he gone yet?

It feels like they’re taking the piss…

Just booked my ticket for ‘Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair’, just a trifling runtime of 4 hours and 41 minutes…

I do not think I will be able to read it but I am so glad you did and I hope other men do as well. I hope it helps men see the world women live in in a different, more sympathetic light. Women and young girls throughout the world always have to beware of predators in ways men do not even understand.

Holding out to see if Uruguay sack Marcelo. It clearly won’t make any difference to the future of LUFC, but I’ll take the blissful daydream, even if it’s simply to spare me the abject misery of contemplating the club’s current trajectory.

Back in the cinema tomorrow and already bracing myself for seeing the Avatar trailer for the third time. Who are these people who pay to see these films? I’m bored stupid just suffering a couple of minutes of highlights.

What a traumatic read.

A remarkably courageous and resilient woman who suffered unspeakable horrors long before Epstein even came along and devoted much of her final decade reliving them, time after time, in search of justice.

At least she lived to see Maxwell imprisoned.

Release those files.

I mean, just why? Was Sunday not enough…?

Just had a look at the WACCOE poll on Farke. So far, 52 want him here and 696 want him gone. It’s not just in my mind that the 49ers are two bollocks short of a pair then…

Just remembered Longstaff’s attempt at an inventive free kick and it’s the first time I’ve laughed since that free kick.

Has he spoken yet? I’m curious about when we’re going to revert to our ‘clean sheet behaviour’.

Honestly, just in isolation, subbing Harrison on for Gudmundson should merit instant dismissal.

A man with a catastrophic top flight record, repeatedly sending out a defensively inept team to defend and try and sneak a draw on the road - we all know where this ends, it’s just when. Most of us expect it will be too late to salvage the season.

Farke and 49ers, a marriage made in Hell.

Gudmunsson off. Gimme strength…

I’d be optimistic about LUFC levelling this, but we’re not due another effort on target for over half an hour.
November 9, 2025 at 3:31 PM
I won’t lie, the LUFC goal aside, almost everything about watching that half was eating into my will to live.

Do it now. We’ll have him…
My gut feeling is that Frank will get sacked in the summer and we'll bring back Poch. I think that the Lewis' and Venkatesham won't be able to resist the easy PR win and the time it will buy them with the fans

Just watched A House of Dynamite on Netflix, which is essentially the opening act of Annie Jacobsen’s book given the Rashomon treatment.

It’s a sobering and fascinating rehash, but get me that full, Denis Villeneuve directed holocaust story experience already - my most anticipated film in years!

Burnley was abject, today was just pathetic. A LUFC team desperately short of a cutting edge, managed by a man who doesn’t do creative solutions was always a recipe for problems, if we don’t even try and compete we might as well forget it.
November 1, 2025 at 4:56 PM
Farke’s inability to send out motivated LUFC teams in away fixtures at this time of year, every season, is really quite a thing.

It’s a good job Longstaff is so effective out of possession, as he’s been an absolute liability with the ball at his feet today.

No dicking about this Halloween, putting myself through the ultimate French Extremity double bill endurance test.

Already looking forward to getting out the other side…
