Cineworld’s attitude towards anything not orientated to reel in the popcorn munchers means a undesirable early Sunday start…

It’s be nice if LUFC had owners who just every now and then, were risk averse to the possibility of losing tens of millions of pounds of income, as opposed to being perennially risk averse to the realities of spending a fraction of that.

Big club owners with a small club mentality. Glass ceiling.

Based on our collective experience of LUFC ‘stretch targets’ it feels very unlikely we’ll sign JSL, though with our risk averse owners, I’m not sure the bid would’ve even remained on the table had Chelsea not turned that around.

Credit where it’s due to West Ham, I didn’t think it was possible to lose in a more deflating manner than LUFC did today.

Bravo, lads. 💪🏼

48 hours of hopelessly misguided investment in the transfer window, just for once, feels like a nice distraction. Nowt positive to reflect upon today, except that we won’t have to roll out the welcome mat for Arsenal again this season.

I’d offer them a bye in any FA Cup tie.

Has Farke dug out Darlow in the post-match presser yet?
January 31, 2026 at 5:30 PM
3-0 down against the best team in the league, game’s dead and Farke decides to go with the full ‘Hail Mary’ approach, as if we’re still in the Championship, playing Plymouth.

Fortunate not to have squandered our entire goal difference advantage. As far as subs go, Gnonto for Stach an all-timer.

First half LUFC performance very much in line with everything that’s happened over the last two months, a second half almost as listless as the away trips that preceded it.

Considered a draw a good result beforehand, even more so when Everton levelled.

Tanaka lucky to make the bench right now.

No escaping the fact that the results affecting teams chasing LUFC this weekend were shit.

Also, no escaping the fact that if LUFC somehow deliver a win tomorrow then it’s suddenly 1 from 5 to go down, as opposed to 1 from 3, so…

Heading to the flicks to watch Mulholland Drive. My cinematic year has peaked early.

I reckon if Trump threatens to kick off again in the near future, it might be time for the U.K. to unleash the Blue Peter gold badge.

I mean, I’m not even sure how the most devout knuckle dragging nationalists in the Republican Party can muster any justification for continuing to support the senile, incompetent, flip-flopping, orange shit gibbon.

Can someone in the U.S. just own this shit and spare us the pantomime?

Anyone enjoying that little blast of Linda Scott on 6 Music’s David Lynch ‘6 of the Best’ can thank me later.

This AFCON final is just sensational! 😂

Just had a look at last season’s final Premier League table. Our points return right now would put us above 18th placed Leicester on goal difference… with 16 games in hand.

this, from West Ham's Freddie Potts, is the single worst "five famous people you'd invite to dinner" I've ever seen

So how does the FA Cup 4th round draw work? #LUFC

Exploited the fleeting rail fare sale to sort myself a trip to the Big Smoke to see the Wes Anderson exhibition at the Design Museum. Travel, hotel and admission for £120. Nice.👌🏻

Some courageous performances, some heroic defending, pity about the absolutely pathetic defending bits.

Found enough time there, ref?

Forest were two goals worse than the scoreline suggests, West Ham just the one. I’ll magnanimously take this minor miscarriage of justice on the chin.
January 6, 2026 at 10:00 PM
One thing I’ve missed seeing in the Premier League this season is the regular spectacle of supporters streaming away early, en masse from the Stadium of Light. Kudos then to the West Ham guys for filling the void.
