People who wonder if the glass is half empty or half full are missing the point.
The glass is refillable.
Of course, the penny will continue to be legal tender, so it isn't really gone. But where are you going to find penny candy? And in today's economy, how long until the one-dollar bill disappears?

The first one-cent coin minted in 1793 was the size of today’s half-dollar and was 100% copper. The Lincoln penny we know today, introduced in 1909 by Teddy Roosevelt to commemorate the 100-year anniversary of Abraham Lincoln’s birth, was the first coin to feature the likeness of an actual person.

On November 12, 2025, the U.S. Mint officially minted the final penny. It costs more to make a penny today than it's worth, and has for the last 19 years. The U.S. Mint reported in 2024 that it cost 3.69 cents to produce each penny.

"A Hard Day's Night" was released in the US on August 12, 1964, and I have a vivid memory of going to see it at the Lee Theater in Fort Lee, NJ, with Walter, my best friend in high school. We were in a "rock band" trying to learn songs by The Beatles at the time, but without a whole lot of success.

The answer is yes. I'm not a scientist and Sean Carroll is one of my favorite science/physics authors. I have read several of his books because he explains complex ideas in an easy to understand way without compromising the science.
Go ahead, read one. You won't be disappointed. You will be smarter.

I understand the title is "We Actually Did Start the Damn Fire This Time" and it will be a 3-disc album.
A single from the album will be released as "We Just Poured Gas on It, Parts 1 and 2" that includes the events from yesterday. 😳

Seriously. Is your time best spent tidying up the shelves or reading the books? 🤔

Just how many times did that first one occur to make it to the top of the list?

That's the only way I can listen anymore. Otherwise the music is just a distraction from whatever I'm doing. I used to play music a lot while driving, but now I want to focus too much on listening instead of driving. If music I like is playing, I have to give it my full attention or turn it off.
