Been working on a native Linux version of Kemono Mahjong, and I think I've finally got it working well on an actual Steam Deck (ie. without needing to enable Proton). Needs some more testing, but hopefully soon it'll get the "compatible with Steam Deck" certification.

v1.40.50 is now rolling out on all platforms. Now displays a difficulty ranking next to each character (1-3⭐), which I hope will be helpful for new players.

Made some progress today on implementing "Nagashi Mangan". I still have to add all the Settings toggles and translations for it, but it seems to be working so far. :)

Here's the #mahjong set we played on when I was a kid.
American set I think, with its "Jokers". We learned European Classical scoring, though… now I play Japanese/Riichi most of the time.

Implemented a "Hardware Acceleration" toggle to the Settings dialog on the Android version of the app. v1.30 should be available to testers soon, then to all.
Pixel 8 users *should* be able to disable HW acceleration and play the game successfully. Better than crashes, anyway.
