This build should be rolling out now for iOS...
For those still on iOS 15-17... I've submitted a new build to Apple, and hopefully they'll approve it soon. This should restore basic gameplay... sorry for the issue.

I'll be supporting iOS 18+ going forward, but I wanted to ensure there's still a version that works on older OS's...

Need to make a build of my game that runs on iOS 15/16/17 again. Ugh. (Similar issue to what was happening on Android 8.x) :/

Also need to see if there's anything I can do to sharpen the textures on the tiles in the new engine - some say the tiles look a bit blurry.

I hang out with so many game devs and marketeers that I always (mistakenly) assume this is common knowledge. If you want to do a gamedev a gigantic favor that costs you literally nothing but 3min of your time, write them a Steam review. ESPECIALLY if they have less than 500 or so.
RE that RT.. it’s wild how steam reviews are still so damn important to getting visibility. If you play and like indie games, the most generous and helpful thing you can do is spend an hour popping positive reviews onto anything you like with <500 or so reviews.

New build (1.50.31) is out now for Steam (Win/Linux) and Android, and is currently being reviewed by Apple - hopefully will be approved soon.

If you're running Android 8.x or 9, you should get 1.49.00, which should launch correctly again.
Sorry for server issues; I've figured out what was going on, and have corrected it now (hopefully!). I'll make fresh bulls for the various platforms shortly, too.

There might be an issue with the new update and devices running Android 8.x... :/

Hopefully not affecting many, but I am investigating and will try to get a fix out soon, anyway.

This version - 1.50.xx - is now rolling out on all platforms.

I hope you like it. :)

(Phone users shouldn't notice much of a difference... but the 3D/landscape view has the new graphics).

Small, free act you can do to bring some good in this world: add positive reviews to ALL you Steam games, especially the small indies. You don't need to write anything smart, just "game good" is enough. Every positive steam review tips the algorithm and helps your fav artists get more sales

Not going to bother making screenshots for each supported language... that would take ages. But I've done the EN ones, and updated the various storefronts.

Kinda neat seeing how much the visuals have changed since I first introduced the 3D view (left) to now (right).

Got the iOS and Android versions running, and am almost done with the Steam (Windows and Linux) builds.

Realized I have to make a bunch of new screenshots for the storefronts, as the landscape mode is significantly different now. Mildly annoying.

Progress, anyway.

I've never been fully happy with the 3D/landscape mode visuals - they're serviceable, but a bit boxy.

I've been working on an update that aims to improve the 3D stuff with a new engine I've been learning. I hope you'll like it...

Going to do some more tests, but... so far so good.

Here's how the same scene used to look, vs. how it looks now with the new 3D engine. Tiles with rounded edges, better lighting + shadows, etc.

(2D/portrait view is more-or-less as it was).
