Have been thinking about this. Crazy that there were absolutely no “nay” votes. Huge, huge lesson for Congressional Dems.
This isn’t 2017 and no one (even a former colleague) is going to act in good faith right now.

After Dems’ USAID rally, I asked Sen. Van Hollen if it was a mistake for Dems to unanimously confirm Rubio. “I’m having second thoughts,” he said; Rubio needs to “stand up” for USAID employees.

We need to make the throughline of “Trump is doing Putin and China’s bidding” much clearer. Stronger argument than constitutionality.

We need to make the throughline of “Trump is doing Putin and China’s bidding” much clearer. Stronger argument than constitutionality.
So far this week, Trump has:
-Backtracked a deeply unpopular order to effectively pause most government programs (veteran assistance, school lunches, Medicaid portals down) (1/2)
