I forget I have C-PTSD and a delayed trauma response and think I'm handling things really well until like a month later when it all hits me. 🙃

Denying life-saving treatment to people because insurance won't cover it is morally reprehensible and is murder. If you have the ability to save someone's life but refuse because they can't pay, that's murder.

Yesterday was my gorgeous and amazing g wife's birthday!! We went to sign the title on our new house and the went to Charlie Palmer's Steakhouse to celebrate! Feeling incredibly blessed!

Second year in a row my wife and I have stayed home for Thanksgiving and it is so ~peaceful~ I am perfectly content never celebrating it again. You can roast a turkey any time of the year.

I will never understand people who willingly move to NYC and oay so much in rent for such tiny spaces. WDYM you pay $4k for a closet that you have to walk up 5 flights for and share a bathroom???

Even though I quit 3 years ago, after working in grocery, retail, and catering for 10+ years I still have nightmares every year around the holidays about rude customers, sales numbers, holiday signage, and thawing out raw turkey. 🥴
