The letter says: “The DoW is prepared to authorize and fund the use of up to 1000 TN NG personnel … through September 30, 2026.” Of course that could change. As of now these guardsmen are from TN and Gov. Lee is their commander.

Let’s talk Monarchs!! I currently have 11 caterpillars, 4 chrysalis and 1 emerged yesterday. The most Monarchs I have raised from my garden in the past 6 years. Is anyone else seeing more Monarchs?

Update from Memphis: I walked 3 miles around East Memphis this morning. No one shot at me. I did visit a recently opened Asian bakery and got this lovely cinnamon bun!

I planted snapdragons because it is the host plant for the buckeye butterfly. This is the first time I have raised this species!

My neighbor is getting married today. Her table arrangements will be made out of flowers from all of the neighbor’s gardens. I love my community!
