Today in #mileg - we were given approximately 20 minutes to review a budget bill that cuts school funding in Michigan by $5.1B. To the kids in the gallery today, I am profoundly sorry you watched the House GOP vote to defund your school.

I’m not happy about withdrawing from @who.int or the Human Rights Council or MANY of the things this administration has done & I won’t pretend to be.

I admit I am biased. But this is a Joint Session of Congress, not a campaign speech. Removing a sitting member of Congress for rightfully calling this out is utter bullshit. 1/

The “Happy Camper” expression is a timeless look. Persistent throughout the ages, it’s most commonly found on the faces of annoyed teens wishing they were anywhere else. Like “Mooooooomm, I literally I think I might collapse under the weight of my own angst.” Or so she was thinking. Probably.

My husband was right. It’s warmer in Alaska than it is in Novi. I hate it when he’s right.
