I’m just plain not happy. The measly 3% raise won’t even cover the premium. And I can’t put enough in my HSA TO JUST COVER THE DAMN DEDUCTIBLE. WTF.

Holy smokes. So my deductible for my health insurance went from 6500 to 9000, and my per pay premium went up by 100. And I get less coverage. Idk what to say or do

all I could get to grow last year were my jalapeños, bell peppers, and tomatoes. Everything else died because my soil isn’t balanced enough. Im looking forward to getting lettuce and beans going

On another note, I’m looking forward to my garden work this year. I’m going to expand it about 3 feet in one direction and 10-15 in the other. The only thing I dread is buying all the fertilizer and extra topsoil so my plants grow properly

I’m so glad I changed to third shift. I get much more time with my wife and child, and I can also work extra overtime to save up for the coming economic issues

Time to rant a little bit. My employer has decided that use of our paid personal hours can count against us somehow. Like, if I use all my hours I will no longer be able to change shifts or bid on a different job.

I’m working on documenting various things right now with my friend. Things like current prices of items; dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, mowers, etc. I want to have concrete proof of what will go down in the future with cost of living related expenses. Things not many people think of

I believe it was because family members only let me see certain news sources while I was a teenager. I had blinders on to anything except what they wanted me to see. I carried that into adulthood until my early/mid 20s. I finally reevaluated myself and realized that, to me, my opinion was wrong.

I’ve been thinking. The scariest thing, to me, about the alt-right pipeline is I used to be in it over 12 years ago. I got out of it, but I have no idea how I got sucked in back then.

With all the doom and gloom around Trump getting elected, I’m happy to say that I did vote for Kamala. Even though it didn’t do anything in my county. I did however get several friends motivated to vote, and our county unseated a republican on the school board. I guess that’s ok enough
