Enough to make Blackbeard blush.

Unfortunately, they’re in the minority against a ruling party that is a quasi-death cult on this topic. Better to have imperfect healthcare than the Republican plan, which amounts to “only the strong will survive.”

This scene and the one in the barbershop - both spectacular work by Hackman.

Scum. Every one of them.

Nails on a chalkboard.

Exactly. Over here, I see countless former military brass and diplomats appear on the news treating this admin and these documents with undue deference and normalcy. Not only does this admin not care about Europe, it is hostile to it. Heartbreaking, but a fact that must be absorbed ASAP.

I like Hertling a lot, but this is no longer a question relevant to military expertise. It’s an overt promise to betray NATO and the EU, and for the life of me I don’t understand why foreign governments and militaries cannot fully update their operating system to recognize this moment.

One thing I’ve always been curious about is the selectivity of cultural penalties. You’re punished for installing a foreign castellan, but there is no fighting penalty when you invade a starkly different climate, or morale penalty if using native troops against their own. At least as I recall.

Elon’s head is on the moon, and it’ll be alone there far longer than 3 years.

I saw Jack and Rose flipping the big door trying to stay in the fight.

I have a tiny glimmer of hope it’ll lead to a boom for independent agencies. Clients are going to see very quickly that this is a horrible model that employs skeleton crews to churn out slop. They learned nothing from the Pfizer consolidation.

As with everything she writes, it smells of the lamp.

If the facts bear out, Bradley failed just as much as anyone here and I hope he goes down with Hegseth and everyone else in that chain of command.

My big worry is the same worry I had with Ange last January - we need big investment but I’m not sure I want Frank or Lange making those calls. Feels like we’re on a road to nowhere yet again thanks to fragmented board room vision.

The first time I saw this scene every hair on my body stood on end.

The story here is that the admin has completely lost the scent on what MAGA wants.

I think you’re giving them too much credit. These are the dregs of their professions who can’t even get a political prosecution off the ground, let alone over the goal line. They’ve failed across the board and are being propped up by the latency between public opinion and elites catching up to it.
