3/3 This CA NIMBY group bases their fears of a hydrogen test in natural gas piping on lower efficiency. Paper IGNORES need to meet peak winter heating demands-CA has 12 underground natgas storage fields. How many batteries will be needed to supply new heat pumps!

2/3 This CA NIMBY group bases their fears of a hydrogen test in natural gas piping on ONE paper, which focuses on efficiency. Paper IGNORES need to meet peak winter SEASONAL demands-hydrogen is far cheaper vs the batteries & electric grid upgrades to supply new heat pumps!

In addition to my hydrogen home vehicle refueling project (below), there are companies making full-home energy storage systems, so you can live off -grid!!

So I am taking the BYD solid-state battery claims of "...breakthroughs in areas such as battery lifespan and fast charging" with a lot more than a grain of salt...

Methane was as close as I could find with today’s search. I know I’ve seen such a diesel graph, but not today.
Whether methane or diesel, the point is high H2 levels (ie ~85%) don’t provide 1:1 reductions in CO2 emissions (ie only ~60%).
