Something unexpected happened at the @meidascanada.ca town hall in Victoria.
A group of young Afghan girls who escaped the Taliban showed up and asked to speak. They told their story of the fight for education and the need for Canada to help.
We will be sharing their story.

There’s one issue that is gaining rare bipartisan support in DC: Outrage over the continued stonewalling of the full release of the Epstein files.
Epstein survivors begged Trump to release their files. He called it a “hoax.”

This is a colossal failure for Trump and a huge win for Putin. He is strengthened both in Russia and on the world stage. All the time Ukrainians are fighting and dying to resist this dictator who will now feel he can do as he wishes without consequences.

We, the people, must hold the president and his appointees accountable for this outrageous abuse against American liberty.

So glad to see this - and it shows two things: first that most people are still perfectly good, kind and helpful, and second that Munchies deserves a big shout-out - as well as the anonymous finder/deliverer! Congratulations, @katharinehorgan.bsky.social !
Update: I’ve found the locket, and the chain can be easily replaced. Thank you, everyone. I’m so touched by your responses and beyond relieved to have found it—it’s hard to put into words. 🤍

I retraced my steps and asked in Munchies cafe as that was the nearest spot to where I thought I had heard the clink and some kind soul handed it in and the staff had it for me. I’m in floods of tears, the chain seems gone but I have the locket. Thank you universe ❤️
