Wow! We’ve got 4 trees, including 2 that we just planted this week. We’ve had a few peaches the last two years and are looking forward to more over the coming years. Like you, early spring warmth and late frosts/freezes where we live is a problem. Optimism reigns!

I’m a huge fan of ziplock bags. I used to hand them out to beginning students when I taught first year seminar. Put 4 or 5 of each size (snack, sandwich, qt, gallon) in a gallon bag for safe keeping. Lots of uses, including extra/leftover food at campus events. Keep in backpack to use when needed!

The nearly-empty propane tank was my nemesis for a really long time. Finally got a natural gas grill and connected it to the house line. Life changing! Highly recommend!

We are also in strawberry heaven in Indiana right now! And, a local orchard has a great relationship with peach growers in South Carolina. Life is good. Fave time of the year!
