Yes, I'd rather be reading.
2026 📖 Goal (0/35)
"Crown Vic 2" is the second in a series of short stories/novelettes/novellas from Lee Goldberg. If you're in need of a quick, fun read, this is definitely worth picking up. Can't wait to see more in this series from @leegoldberg.bsky.social

Looking for thoughts/input from economists ( @dandrezner.bsky.social ? 🤞🏾)

I would assume Miran's argument makes no sense because, among other things, post-WWII growth was because of high gov't spending, manufacturing base, and high tax rates, all of which isn't here anymore or changing. Right?

A day or two late posting, but what's time mean when all you want to do is read books?

📖 "The Expat": a concise spy thriller that doesn't focus a lot of trade craft but nails an empathetic protagonist.

📖 "Black Birds in the Sky": A survey of Oklahoma history and the Tulsa Massacre in particular.

The first book I read in 2025 is "Vigilance" by Robert Jackson Bennett. A tough read in some spots, but it feels like an important book that shows how it's possible to not only become numb to violence, but to monetize it and turn it into a strange spectacle.
