I’m very interested in people and helping them, just the labels don’t help.

Once it’s gone BIGSPD can carry on thinking about those MH care struggles to help as it already does, just without that toxic label 😊

It’s a lazy answer but…I’m not that interested in the other PDs as no one ever diagnoses them. 25 years in MH and they’ve never been a part of my work.
BIGSPD had a vote on getting rid of the PD but a few years back. Lost by a tiny amount. It will go one day.

It not a valid construct and if it was it’s applied appallingly.
We recognise it’s invalid and come up with different ways of describing distress. If nothing else I’d say those who “have BPD” that have survived severe abuse have different difficulties to those who have not.
