I know a lot of people criticise psychiatry and I think that is often because it is the profession with the most power which can then be misused.
This example, that suggests objecting to survivors of abuse being told their personalities are disordered is a form of madness, is a prime example

Lovely to talk to nursing students Wrexham University to hear their negative experiences of the diagnosis of EUPD and talk about how people who have lived through awful experiences can be understood better. Interesting that the students are aware of staff fear and its impact

Silly post from the #BIGSPD25 conference. We had our gala dinner in St George’s Hall in Liverpool.
It is a magnificent building but I was struck by the fact that there were many full body statues, one statue where a man was only head and shoulders, and 2 statues with no legs. What does it mean??

So I might be understanding this wrong but I’m thinking about how social media allows people who have ideas 99% of people would find abhorrent find the 1% who agree with them. #bigspd25
