Hybrids in a nutshell: 1) still burn lots of fossil fuels; 2) fast cycling of small batteries causes rapid deterioration AND 3) two drive systems makes them a long term maintenance nightmare. They exist only as a bad faith marketing exercise to delay uptake of full BEVs.
