Soooo what does this mean ?

I mean if that’s the only way for you to communicate with anyone more than a days walk away yeah it’s extremely annoying. People get REALLY upset about stuff like that even today.

You sent a text it email. You had no say in it and it make daily life worse and more expensive!

The point that it was taxation without representation was always hammered home to us and how annoying and detrimental to over all quality of life something like the Stamp Act was. My teacher always used to analogy that it would be like if the government forced you to pay a few dollars every time

Because they didn’t like a government that they had little to no say in sending in armed forces to occupy their communities and eat them out of house and home.

So are we just going to swing wildly between these two extremes forever ? Because it’s to politically convenient but also do divisive to solve ?
