Harvard has set an example for other higher-ed institutions - rejecting an unlawful and ham-handed attempt to stifle academic freedom, while taking steps to make sure students can benefit from an environment of intellectual inquiry, rigorous debate and mutual respect. Let’s hope others follow suit.

In Davos, lots of rich, highly-educated folk are hyped about Trump, mainly for deregulation and tax cuts. Over dinner, I asked one how they ignore the Jan. 6 pardons. They paused and said, "No excuse!" You can justify a lot, but this betrays the police, rule of law, Capitol, and American people!

So heartbreaking to see what is happening in Syria. A country torn apart by Turkish, Iranian, and Western colonialism. No one cares about the Syrian people or the minorities there. People are hopeful now, but there is no reason to trust the Turkish terrorists-turned-revolutionaries.

If you apply for a job at a grocery store, you have to undergo a background check.

But, if you apply to be Director of National Intelligence, you don't?

Got it.

Ask all politicians and NGOs the same question. #COP29
