It feels like I have nothing to say in my life. Why do we even need our presence online? Promotion only? To sell things?
How do you create environment that you would love to be and discuss around? None taught me that. What I am doing here?

Ran Wild Sheep Chase #DnD #5e oneshot module yesterday. It was a great and witinh 3-4 hours playable adventure. Anybody has to recommend any other great one-shots?
I really like call to action and plot moving levers in this one. Great story to run and adjust no matter player shenanigans.

Really digging style of this map. Working on my own in the same style. What do you guys think?

Had a blast of the game yesterday building a new world for the campaign with players. They were gods shaping the map. Used mashup of rules from Microscope, Dawn of World and ExNovo. Wasnt sure how it will play, but better than expected. Have some ideas in mind what I would want to change already :}

Working on a hexmap of my homebrew world. Still deciding what is the better workflow - paint sketch first or sketch things already within hexes.

What are your feelings about trpgs? What you love in those games? Were there any moments or mechanics that made a "click" in your brain and aha! moment? Please share!

At the same time I see that players are lacking (me included in other peoples games) motivation for their characters. So looking into setting goals, and it feels I have to become amazing in improvising things on the fly.

Lets start discussion!
I am trying to figure out what I like in #trpg games. #CriticalRole got me here and I still cant distill whats that got me hooked (professional actors whatever :P). Played standard "on rails" module books a bit - wasnt satisfying, homebrew stuff - was too tired quickly.

Just finished reading The Game Master's Handbook of Proactive Roleplaying. Good tips regarding player goals! Love ideas and depth in those. Pity book fall off the cliff later - chapters felt a bit shallow, or maybe there is nothing to add? Still advice later felt rushed as I was reading.

Played #Shadowdark again. It is so good to finally try it from the player's perspective. I am getting feeling that dungeons in here are just Funhouse, where you poke everything and just see what things do. My character died this session btw. What feeling as players are you getting guys?

Damn feed is full of politics. I have ran away from twitter to get back into this mess.

I am done with Brandon Sanderson Mistborn books trilogy. Was a good and easy read. Since I am trying to restore my love for reading and fantasy is my favorite genre, do people have any further recommendations?

I am running "Horrendous Hounds of Hendenburgh" on Shadowdark. Was thinking it will be a quick mini campaign, but it seems there is no end to it (session 7 and players still scratching surface). Is there a way to finish, without players noticing, game faster? I want to get into 10-11 sessions max.

Finally played #Shadowdark as a player (not a GM). Still not sure, what I think about it. Lots of fun things, but something is off. Hard to tell what yet.

Just purchased One Ring rulebook from Free League Publishing. Heard so many good things about it and how it portrays a feeling of playing in Lord of the Rings universe.

Map of Town Phandalin I have decided to redraw (I didn't like official top down camera look of the Starter Set). Feel free to use it in your games if you find it more suitable than original. #Phandalin #Dungeons #Dragons #dnd #fantasy #map

I am studying the "right way" of playing exploration based TRPGs. So I got into #hexcrawls. Gathering info about how they function and best practices.
Do you guys have good sources to share?
I found one at Kobold Press, but it bogles me that it is based on many separate pdfs.

I have been reading quite a lot recently. I want to resparkle my love for books, by reading easy stuff. Just finished first book of #Mistborn trilogy by Brandon Sanderson. Going through the second and already thinking what I should read next. Any recommendations? Fantasy stuff please!

Are people playing #DnD during Holiday season? In my case it seems, it is going to be a family celebration and everyone seems getting break from the games :)

#DnD map I have painted. Used it in Dragon of Icespire Peak starter campaign and gave to my players at the very beginning. #dungeon #dragon #map #fantasy

How do you guys handle one big creatures fight in the #shadowark ? Without attack of opportunity it cant "lock" players in place, so everyone ends up running and hitting in circles.
And I know about minions and support - but how you handle only one, solo creature fight, so that it interesting?
