I'd like you to compare this with us policy the last 20 years and play "spot the difference".
It's fine to hate Ping, empires are bad. But it's p clear US is more destructive and less sustainable and PRC is more willing to change in response to criticism. I'll take the bully in reform any day.

I like barfing rainbows! But even then, I'd like to be able to choose a color, and the lack of variety on tower *shape* was what I found most depressing. We're really just going with the sharpest corners known to man ig ok

Hard agree. We used to have options wrt tower design. Now it's "black cube" or "aquarium rave". It really made me sad when I built my PC last year.

If we're addressing legacies, 800-200 years ago saw dramatic shifts in power and roles in different societies. Patriarchal hegemony was not the rule everywhere, even 400 years ago. It's worth remembering that other social structures have existed healthily for longer than EuroPatriarchy has existed.
