Implying we can take down the US Government with hand-to-hand combat is honestly hilarious and potentially insightful. They’re quite frightful fascists
Stephen Miller claims that in Portland "ICE officers have to street battles against antifa, hand to hand combat every night, to come and go from their building"

By this logic, the commander-in-chief shouldn’t be a misshapen lard. Have him do a “regular hard PT” and our long national nightmare can come to an end
Hegseth: "It all starts with physical fitness and appearance. If the secretary of war can do regular hard PT, so can every member of our joint force. Frankly, it's tiring to look out at combat formations and see fat troops. Likewise, it's completely unacceptable to see fat generals and admirals."

In the most respectful way possible, you’re a super boring guy (you just post common-sense anti-fascist takes), and I don’t know why so many people ostensibly on the same side can’t stand you. It’s possible to have a different take on effective forms of resistance that doesn’t put us at odds.
If you endlessly troll people for engagement AND refuse to use available block and mute features you're gonna have a bad time, wherever you are on the internet

Are Republicans done pretending to give a fuck about free speech? He’s crying about literal words being said in the town square. He makes me sick standing in front of that flag, not living up to any of its ideals at all
JD Vance on homelessness: "I don't know why we accepted that it was reasonable to have crazy people yelling at our kids. You should not have to cross the street in downtown Atlanta to avoid a crazy person yelling at your family. Those are your streets."

If Steve Jobs didn’t die so soon, we’d have gotten one mega company in the form of Apple-Disney that probably would’ve beaten Netflix at streaming and dominated the entertainment industry more than Disney alone already does.
What’s your modern historical hinge point? Nothing political. Just your major cultural What If? For example, I’m a 1994 Expos truther

There’s truly no better feeling than watching a film, feeling like you understand the intent and message, and then hearing the filmmaker describe back to you what you exactly ascertained from watching.

Eddington is a cinematic exercise in trying to understand how the hell we got here and if we can change course. That is to say, it’s a movie that is the equivalent of peering into a political junky’s head, so it felt right at home to me.

Today is the day Superman (2025) changes the cinematic landscape for comic book movies. Or maybe it’ll just be amazing like The Batman or ATSV, and Marvel and DC will otherwise keep churning out shit

Does Denis Villeneuve have enough sex appeal and/or sexual tension in his directing to do Bond justice? To be clear, I think he only makes masterpieces. I just also think sex is important in a Bond film.
