It's a beautiful day. I was reminded why science funding is important - I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for federal funding, I had a near fatal car crash when I was 18, the MRI and the brain surgery to relieve the pressure and stop the outer cerebral hematoma wouldn't have existed without fed funds.
Dr kean standing up for science in 2025. Showing the decrease in actual dollars over the last 20 years both in inflation adjusted dollars and as a percent of GDP. Also showing the benefits of the money in terms of economic gains, intellectual property, jobs and local economy.
