This is bad…real bad. We have Fire weather/north winds events upcoming this Summer. Forecasts…all of them will be impacted even your phone.
Welp. 2 California NWS offices--covering entire Sacramento/ San Joaquin Valley region & adjacent foothills/mountains--are no longer operating 24/7 due to extreme understaffing & expanding cuts to NOAA/NWS. This is a very big problem! #CAwx #CAfire #CAwater www.washingtonpost.c...

Doug & Scott Perry seemed to be on the same page…they definitely seem to be cut from the same cloth.
Doug saying he feels good knowing that Perry is at the helm is very telling I think.
Stability from the top is key and it seems that was clearly missing.
