Everyone is getting upset about the data centers. They pollute a lot and use a lot of energy and will eventually be very ugly/huge vacant buildings. And I understand being mad about that. Until you consider the state of the lazer tag industry at this moment, and how much help that sector needs.

I had no idea this was going on and it's so upsetting. The public sphere is being dismantled before our eyes.
It's not just laws about books that are breaking libraries. Several states have passed property tax reforms–or are in the process of passing them–that are dismantling, destroying, and defunding these public institutions of democracy.

Sometimes my son says "Mummy, can i ask you a question?" To which my answer is always "you can ask me anything" because I want to foster open communication.
But sometimes he says "Mummy, I got you a question." To which I always say "where did you get it from?" Because I cannot help myself.
