Today, I am working on perf improvements for loading texture data to the GPU in Velaptor, achieving a 15.7% boost so far!

This will be included in the next release, so stay tuned! The coming months will focus heavily on perf and API enhancements.

I have been working on making CASL cross-plat for the past couple of days. The good news is that it now works on Windows and Linux!

This will be coming in the next release. This is a good step forward for Velaptor to be cross-plat because Velaptor uses CASL for audio.

So one of my biggest contributors to Velaptor came to me on the discord server reporting a problem. This issue ended up not even being with Velaptor, but with CASL! 🤯

I have figured it all out & also discovered another bug fix as well with Velaptor along the way.

Doing some per tuning on FPS calcs which of course runs in the game loop hot path for Velaptor. I got a 93% increase in perf!

I am starting fun things with Velaptor such as adding new feats & perf tuning before v1!

Instead of create a Velaptor project from scratch, you can now use a simple dotnet command to create a Velaptor project.

The Velaptor docs will be updated accordingly.
