Tonight’s entry in the 12 Nights of ActionMas is our first sequel- Batman Returns. A Christmas movie I definitely watched on a rainy Fourth of July.

Saw Red One last year. Some good parts but too much CGI for my taste, and about 20 minutes too long. But overall I had a positive experience so it’s tonight’s viewing for 12 Nights of ActionMas.

It’s seen on a lot of characters, as Baltimore gets chilly in the winter. The series ran from 2002 to 2008, and it’s critically acclaimed and imo required viewing. But the jacket seemed to get super popular, with some versions in high end department stores fetching hundreds of dollars.

Not to tread on @dieworkwear.bsky.social’s turf, but I’m rewatching @audacityofdespair.bsky.social’s The Wire, and remembering how popular MA-1 bomber jacket seemed to be amongst young men (& men wanting to look young) during the period of this show’s height. And it makes me laugh a bit knowing why.

On the old place, in the good times, it was neat to have senior leaders follow me and interact with- and miltwitter was good about policing frauds and imposters.
