Since taking control of Congress and the White House, Republican leadership and rank-and-file members have repeatedly promised not to undermine Medicare or cut Medicare benefits. With the introduction and House passage of the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act," they have broken that promise.

Corey Booker's still going -- strong, inspirational and hopeful in hard and distressing times

@alsobrooks.senate.gov so glad to see you supporting Corey Booker's filibuster. When do you follow his inspiring lead with your own? This is not the time for business as usual!

So proud of you! You're teaching the country to speak out against injustice, lawlessness and hatred. Please keep going. May you go from strength to strength, and may all your colleagues join you. This is no time for ordinary rules.

I'm so proud you are my senator!
I'm a no on cloture, I'm a no on the CR, and I'm a no on giving Elon Musk and Donald Trump a slush fund to rig the government for billionaires like themselves at the expense of everyone else.
I will be voting no on the House Republican CR

Thank you, "Secretary" Kennedy.

Sadly, it's no surprise that musk demands impeachment. He has no respect for rule of law or separation of powers. He just wants what he wants, like every dictator. Keep telling him he can't have it!
The judiciary is a co-equal branch of government, just like Congress and the presidency. When Musk & his cronies do illegal things, it's their JOB to step in and block them.

Musk may get to be a dictator at Tesla — he doesn't get to be one in Washington.
Musk calls to impeach judge whose order blocks DOGE from Treasury systems access
Musk wants to impeach a federal judge after an order temporarily restricts his team from accessing the Treasury Department's payment systems and sensitive data.

Chris is right. The CFPB makes cheaters pay. When you fight for the CFPB, you're fighting to protect us!
This is the richest man on earth bragging about destroying an agency that’s returned BILLIONS of dollars to working Americans who were cheated by big corporations.

Well guess what - the CFPB is protected by law and we will fight to ensure it can continue to fight for consumers.

This is so important. Heading the OMB may look like an innocuous role to most people; it's anything but. Please listen to people like @kaine.senate.gov and encourage your senator to join him to oppose Vought
Democrats are holding the Senate floor through the night to bring the dangers of Russell Vought’s nomination to head OMB to the American public. Vought authored Project 2025. PLEASE share & convince as many as possible to reach out to your Senators - Democrat and Republican and say NO TO VOUGHT.

Big difference is that @schatz.bsky.social is using the procedures to advance justice and democracy, not to restrict them!
Thank you Senator @schatz.bsky.social for your leadership 💪🏻🇺🇸

Glad to see @schumer.senate.gov calling for others to follow your example

It's about time we take a play out of Tubberville's book, turn it back on them, and hold shit up!
