My father was always telling jokes and puns, and making people smile. Action and comedies were some of his favorite films. I still have a lot of love for dad jokes, and goofball movies like Airplane! (1980) and Top Secret! (1984) remind me of him the most. The sillier, the better.

E.T. was the first movie I remember seeing in a theater. My selection from concessions was grape Bubble Yum. It solidified my love of cute ugly creatures & an interest in aliens.

It goes hard on blaming the husband for her death, but something struck me as odd about the whole thing. Not sure how much was true, and what was speculation.
In any case, her death is incredibly tragic. She could have been winning Oscars by now. I feel like watching Girl, Interrupted again.

I forgot today was Halloween because I've been having a migraine episode for several days. Guess I'm a 'NASA employee' today, though not really much of a stretch since we do work with them. Lazy costume is lazy.
