My amateur analysis is that those on the losing end are forced to kowtow to the current occupant in ways that get him what he wants but doesn't deserve (like attention, nominations, accolades) in an attempt to get him to reverse his harmful policies, which sometimes happens.

While I agree that billionaires are definitely the problem, I also think conservatives are too, as they tend to ignore how racism in particular (land theft, enslavement) is foundational to who this country is.

History is clear: Xenophobia doesn't protect us—it weakens us. Trump's actions hurt students, universities, and our country as a whole.

We all must stand against these cruel acts.
