Why are we using cute euphemistic words like "nabbed"? He was kidnapped.

"I resisted calling it fascism, despite a decade of fascists words coming out of Trump's fascist mouth, because SERIOUS thinkers were too savvy to take Trump's literal words literally instead of as objects for pedantic fingerwagging of HYSTERICAL leftists."

We're supposed to believe CBS News? Sure, buddy.

La réaction française est-elle trop timide face à la répression des manifestations aux États-Unis?

Hahahaha. These must be the same people who voted for him because they thought he'd only deport the "criminals."

She's currently polling 2nd, which is pretty good for a 20-something with no name recognition or political experience. Even if she loses, you could easily argue her campaign put her in a very good position all factors considered.

No. That's counter to the point. The idea is to aim the aid at the community one wants to represent. The WHOLE community. The point is not bribery with goods but demonstration. Prioritizing one group defeats the point. Everyone can help everyone is the point.

You're missing the forest for the trees. The idea behind mutual aid is not to replace a functioning welfare state, it's to act where the current welfare state is failing and to demonstrate what's possible with cooperation on a small scale, hoping voters will notice and vote to scale it up.

This is the final form of debate bro culture. No story about the evils of Concentration Camps is complete without a soundbite of Himmler saying they aren't that bad really and if the Jews and gays weren't criminally Jewish and Gayish they wouldn't be in these perfectly nice camps.

it’s easier to believe in the power of "The Invisible Hand of The Market" to make ethical decisions and the importance "The Polls" in forming moral policy without realizing that these are just collections of people making selfish and often poorly informed decisions and easily swayed by propaganda.

The political media's job is to report on horserace campaigning, not actually interrogate politicians' beliefs. They don't care if he's a Nazi, they only care if Nazism is popular among self-identified independent voters.
