Ophelia & I are going to try to settle in. She lost a lot of leaves in the process. I guess i did too. We both need a hair repair. I hope we'll make new friends here. I think... a bit of fresh soil, a better diet. It's hard to leave old worlds behind, when you finally realize there's nothing left.

This is the 3rd month in a row that BLS non-farm is quite a bit higher then ADP non-farm private. What steps can independent entities use to ensure fed data are not subject to some of the distortions of truth DOGE & the administration have been prone to?

When a last-minute protest was scheduled in Waterville, Maine, we asked my dad and he said -- YES -- that is what he wanted to do for his 80th birthday. He takes care of my bedbound mom, plus works remote as a programmer, and can't get away much to the capital. His siblings helped make it happen!

Do you know why?

According to earlier press, Secty Duffy has his cell, plus there's this list of emails floating around bsky. It's provenance and privacy level is .. unknown to me.
