It is frankly insulting to refer to Nightingale and Gaskell as "female influencers", and the idea that "woman in the past" = tradwife even if you are *checks notes* a progressive figure and/or not a wife is ridiculous.

I'm not sure I could even achieve that! Mine are definitely the more rustic variant...

You might appreciate this one from St Peter Mancroft in Norwich. Not the best photo - it was very hard to fit it all in the image!

Unfortunately, it was a bit of an impromptu visit so I didn't get photos of everything. The current suspended font cover is modern (well by medieval standards) but I seem to have cut it off in my photos - was too taken by the devils and angels! I will have to go back soon for a more leisurely visit

6) why is the work needed? Is there a public benefit? Does it solve a problem that means the building may fall out of use and into disrepair? Is it going to improve the condition or appearance of the historic building? Is it necessary to prevent future damage?

5) are the materials and design elements appropriate to the setting and the rest of the building? Once we get into aesthetics it can get a bit subjective but consideration may be given to whether it is "lightweight" and or to whether it uses materials and colours that are characteristic of the area.
