Probably they've gone back off it for some reason. I haven't kept up.

Thune kept his word on the DC budget fix in March. They voted immediately after the CR, and it even passed. And Trump said the House should pass it right away. But Johnson did nothing, so the bill died.

I thought they had gone back to automatic operation.

Wasn't that the time of the previous CR cave?

Sorry for being grumpy. It just hit one of my peeves. I wish you success, but I do hope you'll look into expanding the availability if licenses allow.

Why isn't it just "wherever you get your podcasts", like podcasts have been for years until Spotify started this exclusivity? If your podcast is not available on the app I use for podcasts, I might sample it, but I'll probably forget about it since it doesn't fit into my listening habits.

So it's not available like a normal podcast, only in certain apps? Spotify really is wrecking things.

Someone make sure Eleanor Holmes Norton knows that!

The relevant language from the CR is here. The relevant provisions that make it an offense are 31 USC 1341, 1342, and 1350.

The ACA subsidy vote is a separate (promised) bill though. So the House can just pass this CR and ignore the ACA bill (assuming the Senate even passes it).

“What if we’re not opponents, but instead colleagues who want what’s best for the American people”: I wrote that atop this thread, and … welp.

I wish that were parody of Senate mods’ thinking, and not a faithful rendition of it.
