During the pandemic, someone invited me to protest mask mandates to protect our "God given rights." I didn't join in since I know the importance of mask mandates. Over the years I've wondered what she meant by"God given rights". The right to kill others by giving them a deadly communicable disease?

It's annoying when Alexa played James Taylor's version of Mockingbird instead of the more soulful original version by Inez & Charlie Foxx but it's infuriating when it plays Eric Clapton over Bob Marley's I Shot the Sheriff, which is a protest song. What is Eric protesting? Vaccinations?

It's annoying when Alexa played James Taylor's version of Mockingbird instead of the more soulful original version by Inez & Charlie Foxx but it's infuriating when it plays Eric Clapton over Bob Marley's I Shot the Sheriff, which is a protest song. What is Eric protesting? Vaccinations?
The older I get the more I realize that the true customers in a capitalistic system are the shareholders not the people who buy their product.

I don’t think the Hunter Pardon even needs to be compared to Trump’s corrupt pardons to justify it. The charges against Hunter were extremely rare, and they only happened after Trump and House GOP publicly attacked Weiss for offering a plea deal.
