The realization that no deal you make with the United States is guaranteed past the next election is going to have interesting repercussions in the future.

One myth that should be shattered is that most people care what side of history they’re on—clearly, they do not 😐

Start making the connections. The Murdoch misinformation, harassment, character assassination machine is a major force in what has happened to unravel Great Britain and the United States.
This is important. Prince Harry is the one royal who refused to accommodate Murdoch’s sharks.
Here’s the full apology by Murdoch’s NGN to the Duke of Sussex Prince Harry and Lord Tom Watson read out in court

A further punt for my Prospect piece and my follow-on piece on solving the puzzle of why Prince Harry's case against News Group Newspapers came to its sudden end.

These posts are not quick and easy to put together, and here I had to read over 13 case reports to get any sense of what really went on.

The only source is some satire website on twitter. 44 thousand likes from people who think this is resistance. For fucks sake

Never before have the titans that shape the world's information economy been so warm to Trump, despite the fact that the president-elect and his political allies have been outspoken about the ways in which they'll warp democratic institutions.

One thing I find interesting about the echo chamber complaint is that an echo chamber just won a presidential election.

Put aside the convo of whether it’s “good” or “bad” for a moment. The far right has devoted enormous resources + time to building echo chambers & loathes spaces they don’t control
The "bluesky is an echo chamber" think pieces that keep popping up really tickle me because they show how certain people genuinely believe social media should be for debating and arguing and not talking about the things that make you happy and sharing art with the world.
