My movie reviews swept first through third place in the Washington Newspaper Publishers Association's Art Reviews category for the Port Townsend and Jefferson County Leader's circulation group.

Covering the @ptfilmfest.bsky.social at the @rosetheatrept.bsky.social, I got to tell Tom Skerritt that I grew up watching him in "Picket Fences," and I loved his work with Harry Dean Stanton in "Alien" and "Lucky."

And yes, I did it while wearing a Flynn's Arcade shirt.
