I often choose movies over tv. But as the world falls apart, I’ve found surprising comfort in new seasons of 4/5 of my favorite shows (RPDR, Yellowjackets, Severance, White Lotus; if there was also new Gemstones my head might explode).

Mitch McConnell could have retired years ago, in comfort and wealth but he's still crawling along the floor of congress because it's that important to him that he make sure not a single person receive even a scrap of help for anything. He will die trying to snatch bread from a hungry child.

Horror has,is and always will be-in the right hands-a powerful tool to be subversive,progressive or as blunt as a fucking sledgehammer.
