What a debacle. Rather than admit they were wrong and reinstating the original service providers, they are now flying in meals. Not only cost but environmental implications too. This may be a minor issue to some, but it's indicative of how they view our most in need.

Pretty successful Christmas Day so far (in NZ). Definitely ate too much, drank a little too much, fell asleep after lunch & now have a tiny hangover which I will be nursing quietly with a book in the garden.😆 It is a beautiful, sunny day here, apologies to my UK family for lack of rubbish weather. 🙃
