Perhaps you could get the ‘Bristol Green Party Letter Writing Department’ to send something to your leader Zack Polanski and ask him to come off twitter*?

With lower interest rates those people with mortgages in Bristol NW are better off.

Labour are tackling the cost of living.

I can only influence certain people in the Labour Party, I’m not all powerful. But as a local politician I can hopefully make representations that will be noticed.

Labour4TransRights are doing fantastic things & have the support of many MP’s & TU’s, as witnessed by our packed out solidarity rally.

Of course it’s political.

My point was that Polanski finished his post about the abhorrent killing of a woman by referencing the cost of living. If that’s his style, so be it. But I think Labour are starting to make inroads into tackling the CoL.

Can you explain to me why Zack Polanski finished his post on the abhorrent killing of a woman with a comment on the cost of living?

Here’s a list of what Labour have done so far on the CoL, more to do.

Sunny but crisp January morning for a litter pick in Southmead.
January 10, 2026 at 12:56 PM
After years of Tory/Lib Dem austerity (of which Cllr Williams was a part), this Labour Government have increased funding to Bristol City Council by £161M up to 28/29.

Protecting the funding of libraries is not the same as committing to keep them all open. I will not let Southmead library close.

Please explain why you thought this abhorrent killing in the USA has anything to do with the cost of living in the UK?

It doesn’t - that’s my criticism of your post.

Southmead residents spoke to BBC Radio Bristol about van dwellers on Lanercost Road in Southmead. Imposing things with poor consultation appears to be a theme with this Green led council.

You can hear some of their comments and part of my interview with Claire Cavanagh here (clipped for Bluesky):-

Bad news for all those who want to ‘erase trans ideology’. Been out, had a couple of drinks, wee’d (twice) and had a very ordinary evening out.

See you in 2026.
Happy new year x.

The gender critical movement:-

“..:don’t expect me to go along with it” - PB, BBC Politics West

“This must be the year Britain finally kills off trans ideology” - SM, The Telegraph

They want to erase people like me from society. Ain’t going to happen.

Merry Christmas 🎄

A Christmas riddle for you.

When does 10=21?

When it’s an answer from Councillor Barry Parsons on the number of van dwellers he proposes to shift from a posh to poor area.

What an emotional #SPOTY 😢

When so much is going on in the world, the loss that some people endure puts everything in perspective.

Actual headline should be “Green Transport Committee members agree to listen to Labour for a change”.

There was one thing missing from the PB debate today - a trans voice. More than that, a trans voice who knows people who took PB’s and have gone on to lead happy, fulfilling and successful lives.

I remember the days when we’d all have those talking aquatic creatures on our walls.

Now they’re conversing with me on my phone!

Today I appeared on Politics West.

As an elected politician all I want to do is improve the lives of people in my ward and the city.

No politician should be subject to harassment and intimidation. Confronting councillors and making them feel unsafe is completely unacceptable.

Just a little heads up that Politics West is on tomorrow at 10am on BBC1.

Be there or be a 4 sided object where each side has an equal distance, with a right angle where the sides join. Or as Amanda Parr said last night, a square.

Hope it’s a good show 😬😊

From behaviour in public forum to making sure local people’s views on liveable neighbourhoods are taken on board, Bristol Labour are leading the way.

Who needs a party that’s talking bollards? 😋🚧
