Today I learned about a PC Engine CD game called Faussette Amour which is a lot like Valis with a grappling hook, a little like Ghosts n' Goblins in that you get knocked down to your underwear as you're hit and then nude as you're defeated, and... is still probably only worth checking out the OST.

Even nuttier when you consider it's a remake of a game that looked like this (although the OG Shadow of the Ninja was a late NES game that was also a technical showpiece and is still worth playing)

I still don't trust the Steam Deck to be able to dock and undock mid-game like the Switch can without it crashing or causing performance issues, but I have stopped giving a shit, so that's something.

Also been fascinating to see modern fashion creep into the Yakuza games... or at least I assume that's what's happening with Akame from Gaiden, I thought she was supposed to be young but the actress is about the same age as me (which, fucking kill me) while the character's only supposed to be 29.

Does anyone else see a trend of characters who evoke the image of "college student", or is that just what *I* assume when I see a young woman in a baggy jacket or hoodie, and should probably examine the thought further?
