Most companies want all these crazy results/vanity metrics but they haven’t built their foundation. In SEVERAL areas.

Leadership doesn’t have a vision or good communication skills. The team (if you have one) is confused about what’s going on. Growing the company is difficult.

I kinda hate April Fools Day and it’s kinda for the reason you expressed. If there’s a full day that allows people who are malicious and are not funny to be emboldened, then I have to be hyper vigilant the entire day.
