Inspiration from old masters pallet colors. Broken Twill 187 from Carol Strickler’s 8-Shaft Patterns. The long piece is 70” long to use as a table scarf. 10/2 perle cotton warp and weft for the scarf, then the sample from the end of the warp I wove with 8/4 mop cotton. #multi-shaftloomweaving

A project in 10/2 Perle cotton from Maurice Brassard. I used 17 colors to coordinate with my grandmother’s rug and a Satsuma trinket box. A table scarf woven 70 inches long in10/2 for the weft then I wove a shorter piece with 8/4 mop cotton to make a small Matt.

A sample from Strickler 417. I am using some apps to plan a new color way. Color.adobe and a photo I took then I match up the colors in organic cottolin. Last I use iWeaveIt to play with color possibilities. #multi-shaftloomweaving #handwoven #8shaft
