Just read a post by @erininthemorning.com citing a Pew study that only 31% of trans people surveyed feel accepted by their parents and only 11% by their extended families. When everything seems so hugely awful, it can help to remember that allyship exists in gestures large *and* small.

This got lost enough that I, at least, didn't see it. Tr*mp sues Penguin Random House for $15 billion for publishing a book that cast him in a negative light. Going after comedians is indeed terrifying. Going after publishers is at least equally terrifying.
