Right now most tech solutions for this budding Ai slop problem are algorithmic choice, micro-communities stuff, & decentralized versions. Think Bluesky. I wonder what's the next REAL connection engine for people.

With the LLM fakeness of connection, bots, all the automated parasocial stuff and Ai influencers does likely mean folks wont find the same value. Neither will advertisers

It might be over the top to say causality. But SM is suppose to connect users to other people that they likely wouldn't knew existed or had time to connect with.

Note on the crush: I find no need (absolutely none) to criticize his missteps. He does that himself enough. That's evident. He's a good dude (full stop) hence the crush. It's life...lifeing.
