I think I’m going to try this poem writing strategy:
1) when I’m in my feels write down what comes to mind in poetic prose
2) identify the core theme and emotion
3) rewrite the poem to encapsulate that core theme/emotion and build a loose meter as I go
Guess I’ll see if it works!

I’m realizing that I use sarcasm to an annoying degree, but when somebody else makes a sarcastic joke I take it literally because I’m autistic as fuck. I feel like a hypocrite, a traitor even.
